Persona
Introduction
When Marina Rinaldi designs clothing, it reflects the motto “Women Are The Future,” and the collections from this label bring this slogan to life: it represents the strength, diversity and vitality that every woman has within her. Women are self-confident and proud of their own personal identity, with an aura of inner strength.
Marina Rinaldi developed Persona along these same lines, as a daughter brand to the main label, and it, too, presents high-quality fashion with both strength and femininity. Women from size 16 and upwards who prefer a figure-enhancing cut and classical style, will love Persona.
The brand
Marina Rinaldi started out in 1980 with the Max Mara label. Twenty years before that, Max Mara was designing fashion for women over size 12. With Marina Rinaldi, they started producing the first items in sizes 16 and over. The Marina Rinaldi label was named after the designer’s grandmother, who was the owner of a dressmaking shop in Italy.
That’s how the first steps towards plus size fashion were taken, and in the decades since then, it has gone from strength to strength all over the world. The daughter brand, Persona, quickly followed, with its classical elegance and distinctive style. Unlike Marina Rinaldi, Persona features understated styles and classical patterns, because the focus is on the tailoring of the garments.
Selected designer items by Persona are available on navibi.de in sizes 16-26. There is a huge variety and choice of products, and this ensures that there is something for every woman who appreciates Persona’s style.
The Persona label
Persona is ideal for women size 16 and over who love high-quality clothing in a modern, feminine style. A striking feature of this label is the fact that the clothes are designed to emphasise a woman’s figure. This is because Persona believes that women should not have to hide in or behind their clothes. The distinctive tailoring varies from classical 7/8 trousers to clothing with many details including a waistline seam and elastic waistband.
There is also a rich variety in the fabrics. Viscose is a tried and tested fabric, and it is to be found in most of the garments. Persona also makes a distinctive use of crêpe, with its matt, grainy surface it creates clothing with a special look. Crêpe is not see-through like chiffon, although it drapes in a similar way, and this makes it ideal for dresses and blouses.
The Persona collections have classical shirt-blouses in standard colours, as well as seasonal shades. There are also colourful patterns and exciting garment designs, including blouses with tropical patterns and short coats in floral print.
Collections by Persona demonstrate that women wearing larger sizes can be confident, feminine and chic. They need not, and should not, hide behind their clothing. They look radiant in attractive, figure-enhancing garments which make the most of their feminine curves.
